Natural Environment- Education & Development was started in October 1997 with the aim of spreading awareness about the conservation of birds. It also focuses on the conservation of Nature and traditional knowledge. It main activities entail research & development work on applied aspects for the betterment of environment, establishment of Nature Musea/ laboratories/ libraries in remote areas, production & formation of films and documentaries, conducting courses/ training programmes; organising workshops, seminars, conferences and documentation & publication work.
